The architecture group, Atkin has uniquely designed and constructed water filled quarry in Songjiang, China and has won the first prize in an international design competition. The quarry has a beautiful 400bed resort hotel with all the natural beauty around. The whole construction is done underground with all the facilities along with the water sports, restaurants, cafes etc.
There seems to be a competition among the architecture groups worldwide to offer unique and amazing designs with all the comforts of modern life. There is a hunger of something new and exciting every now and then in the people today and that is taken care of by the new generation of designers and marketers.
