Bangkok sightseeing may not be that soothing after all. The tourist destination does have temples, Grand Palace which are very appealing. But, for the off beat tourists, these things might be a little boring. If this happens to you, you might want to check out the Museum of Forensic medicine which has some shocking artifacts.

How Shocking? Well, the Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok boasts about a display of testicles that are even bigger than the statue of Buddha. Situated in the rear end of the hospital, this museum serves as a training facility for the medical students. Going through the museum, you will probably get the feeling that you are checking out the set of a horror movie.

Cyclops babies, blood stained clothing, severed heads, pieces of flesh and tissue are all display items in this particular museum. I think that should be enough description on the forensic items. Another aspects of the exhibits include a bold display of chain saws, guns and kitchen knives used as murder weapons. The museum even goes back in time.

Also on display is the autopsy gown of 1946 that was used to examine the body of Thailand’s murdered King! Terrible! This ain’t no artwork display. This is a man’s world. The insane displays might initially look like a millionaire’s gross past time.
Nevertheless, the museum of Forensic medicine in Bangkok, Thailand paints a gory picture to it’s visitors. If you are really interested, you can drop in at Adulaydejvigrom Building, behind Siriraj Hospital, Phrannok Road. Although, I think I will stick to the natural wonders and more pleasant tourist spots of Bangkok.
