Chinese archaeologists have found a mysterious underground chamber in Shaanxi province of North-west China. It is said to be more than 2,000 years old building that is inside a 51-metre high pyramid-shaped part on the top of the tomb of emperor Qinshihuang.
It’s a 30 meter high building situated near terracotta warriors. The revelation of this building was a surprise as the surviving historical records hold no description of it.
The excavation of the emperor’s tomb is not started as yet, reason being that the archaeological techniques are not sophisticated enough to probe the important finds potentially.
As the building is mound on the top of the tomb of emperor Qinshihuang, it is said that the building may house the soul of the emperor. Remote sensing technology will be used to investigate the building and only then the further fact about the building will be revealed.
