The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo is a new luxury hotel opened last month in Tokyo’s nightlife capital Roppongi. It’s a 248-room hotel on the 45th floor of the city’s tallest skyscraper. The hotel is home to Japan’s most expensive Presidential Suit (available for $20,000 per night) and a 200 year old Japanese teahouse.
The rooms are lovely and their main attraction is the fantastic view of the dramatic cityscapes below and scenic glimpses of snow-capped Mt. Fuji in the distance. The regular rooms, rates begin at ¥61,000 per night.

There are two high-end restaurants and a swank lounge and bar. The restaurants feature sushi, tempura and Teppanyaki.
The hotel offers a special drink called the diamonds are forever Martini. It is a $16,000 cocktail with a one-carat Bulgari diamond at the bottom that you can take to any Bulgari store in Tokyo and have a ring fitted to the stone for free.
The hotel is designed by renowned interior decorator Frank Nicholson.
