Sticking to unnecessary customs and policies that are no longer relevant in the current era of globalization, the Islamic community has almost stranded its pace of progress. The problem is more common in Indian sub-continent, particularly in Bangladesh-one of the world’s largest Muslim nations.

Sharing its borders with India and Myanmar the country boasts of vibrating vistas and world’s most beautiful seashores that could turn this downtrodden nation into a flourishing hub of international tourists. Alas! Ineffectual authorities and a powerful Islamic group have paralyzed country’s development.
Since its independence in 1971, the country is struggling to regain its peace, political instability and trying to assuage terrorism- the only prosperous business in Bangladesh.

Country’s beaches that consists of world’s longest 120 km unbroken coastline and chain of hillocks that stands parallel to ocean for almost equivalent to seashore makes it a remarkable holiday destination.

In addition, centuries old pagodas, coral islands, and Hindu temples the nature has showered its stock of beauty so profoundly in Bangladesh but even then, I don’t know why the arrogant torchbearers of country are imposing immaterial policies in the country. As a result millions of tourists are deprived of enjoying the beauty of Bangladesh.

Here I’ve no intention to criticize Islam or its followers but if they (policy makers) continue to keep their country segregated from rest of the world then it would definitely pave way to more poverty, consequently criminalization, terrorism, drugs-trafficking and other illegal ways of making money.

Therefore, it is inevitable for these policymakers to consider over their policies with a wider perspective and open their portals for world travelers. In the same way, Bangladesh will have to provide violence-free environment, political stability, more liberalized policies that could lure investors in every sector
