World’s Biggest Casino Opens in Macau

U.S. billionaire Sheldon Adelson has opened the $2.4 billion Venetian Macao Resort, the world’s largest casino. The grand opening of the casino took place on Tuesday. Housed in the world’s second-biggest building, second only to the Boeing plant in Washington State, it is a mega resort that will hold the world’s biggest casino with 850 gaming tables, a 3000 hotel suite, a 350-store shopping complex and a sports stadium that will hold 15,000 people. Also, there is 6,000-seat banquet hall, three indoor canals and so many other facilities that you can’t see an end to them. The mega-resort aims to tap China’s 1.3 billion people and entice guests to stay longer than the current average of 1.2 days. Really, this seems to be the wonderful place to be at! I’m sure, after reading about this casino you’ll wish to go and see it once. But don’t try to get a room this week as all 3000 suites are booked for the opening week.
